3 racetracks - we're a fit for the whole family.
We have three outdoor, off-road karting tracks available. Our three tracks are complimented by four different kart sizes - kiddie (ages 5-6), child (ages 7-10), junior (ages 10-15) and adult (ages 15+). We never mix the karts, so you're always racing against equal contenders and it keeps everyone safe out on the track. You may need to bear that in mind if your group has a wide age-range.
The racing is fast, powerful and exciting, no matter which track, or size of kart you're driving. Adult karts can go up to 35mph, so it will take everything you've got to hold the best line round the corners.
Fast, physical, fun.
It all comes down to one simple question. Are you good enough to keep it on the track? With computer-controlled lap times, full grand prix races and a custom-built podium for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places we are ready to offer you a truly exciting race experience.
We race in 10 minute sessions. 10 minutes? Easy. Well.. not quite. Our tracks are physically demanding, but brilliant fun. You'll need all your concentration, skill and power to keep the kart on the very best line. Come and give it a try.
Equipment provided.
We provide crash helmets and race suits in a wide range of sizes, as well as gloves - vital for keeping hold of that steering wheel round the tights bend.
Weather
Although our karts are ready for anything you can throw at them, we don't open in the wet. If it's been raining, call to check we are running.
Under 16?
Under 16's must have a parent/guardian sign all documents on their behalf. If you have any questions about this, please get in touch and ask.

Safety first.
We provide safety equipment for all racers, including crash helmet, race suits and thorough training on how the karts are to be operated. Our team of marshalls are there to keep you safe and secure.
All our karts are fitted with remote safety cut-off's, so we can turn off any engine from the pits for safety reasons.
From young children, right up to grandparents, we take everyone's safety very seriously, and we ask you to do the same. If you have any concerns, or questions, please get in touch and ask us - we'll be happy to help.

Beacon Rally Karts has been run by the Abbott family since it opened in 2002 - that's nearly 9 years of individual people turning up ready to race, thousands of parties, corporate days out, stag and hen do's, birthday parties and work parties. They've all met us and come back.
We're proud to be part of our local community - we are featured on the visit suffolk website - and hope you visit us as part of a longer trip to Ipswich and the whole of East Anglia.

Based in Martlesham - our tracks are built right into the heart of rural East Anglia - while the convenience of the A12 means we are easy to get to, wherever you're travelling from.
We're a short journey from some perfect days out in Suffolk - Woodbridge, a riverside town just minutes away; Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast; Stowmarket, a lovely market town; the picturesque Southwold (famous for being the home of Adnams Brewery) and Lowestoft, Bury St. Edmunds and Norwich which are all under an hour away.
